THE MISSION
Broken Rising Ministries is a roadmap to help staff pastors and lay leaders who have been spiritually and emotionally abused by a leader they served in the church heal. Broken Rising is a set of resources to help you on your journey of the healing of your broken heart, find wholeness again with the Holy Spirit's help, and get your calling back on track. The heart of the Father is for you to experience the joy in knowing and serving Jesus again.
HEALING
The first goal of Broken Rising Ministries is to help you heal from the spiritual and emotional wounding in your heart. The pain and loss you feel because of the betrayal of a senior church leader is real, and will have real future consequences to your relationships, family and ministry. The amazing news is that Jesus can and will heal the wounding from being Broken Under by a church leader.
RESTORATION
The second goal is help you on the road to restoring a healthy understanding of who you are in Christ and to learn how to take your self-worth off of organizations and leaders and walk as the loved, accepted and called child of God that you are.
RELEASED BACK TO KINGDOM MINISTRY
The third goal is to help you to once again pursue the gifts, calling and assignment that the Lord most definitely has placed on your life and that have most definitely not been lost because of the wounding you received at the hands of a senior church leader. The goal is to take your place once again in the body of Christ and contribute to a spiritually healthy atmosphere of honor and mentoring of other leaders in the church and see the church grow strong as it values people for who God made them.
